I have changed 4 weeks agoo the hidraulic fluid MOTUL same spec, but seems was not good at all, coz i have a x5 e70 2009 286hp active steering... And imediatly i feel my steering wheel being alot stiffer then it was before, and afther not even 1000km my steering pump in the middle of the Parisian Highway has blew off all the gaskets inside the pump..! I send it to BOSCH to see if they could repaire,and 2 days agoo... Afther 3 weeks they thold me they fix it, and all the gaskets inside the pump was blew out.! Tomorrow il go and lift up from them, and il goo at Bmw dealer to buy or order 2L of fluid.! Wish le luck coz allmost has cost me 1688.22 Euros for a brand new one, and instead will cost me only 460 euros..! Wish me luck 😂

Great video and thanks for posting! I know you did this quite some time ago and you may not fully remember, but I have the exact same problem and year/model E70. My problem is I'm not sure where to spray the liquid moly into. I have the equipment (pressurized gun, liquid moly etc)....Think you c an give me a few additional ideas or even a picture of where to put this stuff! #ALLHELPMATTERS !!

I don’t really mind the ///M badge by itself in this case. Anyone can see that it is a touring and not a M3… Especially if it had a s14 or another S motor in it. You are not really claiming it’s something it’s not with just that badge. If you put a full ///M3 badge on the back your car it better have come from the factory with it!.. or your lying to yourself and the world. It doesn’t work in all cases though… if it was a e39 or e28 sedan with just a M badge, I feel you are misrepresenting what the car actually is, as they look too close to a real M car. I think I would die inside if someone asked me if my car was an M car because they saw the badge and it wasn’t. I think it would look much better with it original badge on it. That’s just me though.

Do you get any codes from the delete of EGR ??

Its black and red because some einstein put atf oil in it instead of chf11s....

Do NOT use engine oil to lubricate the filter when installing this way - in fact, don't do it this way at all! First there's a risk to break the last bolt at the back that wasn't removed. Second the oil will destroy your MAF.

My car is a x5 m sport. Came with M badge on fender steering wheel, door seal and other places I can’t even count so there’s no problem whilst modifying my car , I put M on the boot next to my x5 cos it’s an M sport.. nothing wrong with it…

Absolutely perfect way of doing this. Although one thing to note is to make sure you install a 12V to 5V stepdown. I didn't do so, resulting in me wrecking my 3 year old dash cam.

Why your old fluid looks red? was it ATF? or green became red after some time?

Здравствуйте, подскажите пожалуйста,возникла такая проблема после замены водительской двери,я все переставлял на новую дверь,до этого все работало хорошо,но после перестановки перестала закрываться и открываться водительская дверь ,а все остальные открываются и закрываются как надо, когда открываешь и закрываешь машину звук актуатора слышен,но солдатик стоит на месте как будто заклинило, подскажите куда надо лезть или менять

You can flush it by add a fresh fluid to the minimum run it and drain it again

I just fixed mine too with similar methods. Feel so happy my car is back to normal. DPF work is expensive. Back to petrol with my next car. 😉
